Hyde Park Bar and Grill WestGate
I am so happy to announce a show of works at Hyde Park Westgate in south Austin! The show is up for a month, stop by for dinner and to view the works. A tentative opening is scheduled for May 21st, check back soon to confirm!
The show included some pieces I have not shown often, including Gemini, and there a few new pieces as well!
This also means I’ll be hanging some larger pieces at my studio for the next Open Canopy happening on May 6th 1-4pm. I can not be at this one, but Caroline will be holding down the fort at studio 119 in Bldg 1 at 916 Springdale Rd, Canopy Arts complex.
First Saturday Open Canopy
The artists at Canopy open their doors to the public the first Saturday of every month! You do not have to wait for EAST to come say hello and see what we are up to! We hold this event every first Saturday of the month (except, on occasion in January) from 1-4pm. We look forward to seeing you! I am located at 916 Springdale Rd, Bldg 1, studio 119. See you there!
East Austin Studio Tour
Join us for the 20th Anniversary of The Austin Studio Tours! I will be at my studio for the second and third weekends of November from 12-6pm. There is SO much art to see at Canopy, and this is my favorite event of the year. I am located at 916 Springdale Road, Bldg 1, studio 119. As always, huge shout out to Big Medium for what they add to the Austin Arts Community!
Open Canopy - March
Every first Saturday of the month, you can find me at my studio for Open Canopy! This event is free and open to the public, located at Canopy Arts Complex at 916 Springdale Road, Austin TX 78702. My studio is in bldg 1, #119 on the first floor. Come by and see what I’m working on and say hello!
Open Canopy Event & Studio Sale!
Keep up with wearing your well fitted masks, friends, and join Caroline Walker and myself for the first Open Canopy event of 2022! We’ll be hanging out in our studio, #119 in Bldg 1 from 1-4pm on Saturday Feb 5th. I’ve downgraded my space a bit, which means I am having a 30% studio sale on select works! This sale is ongoing through the whole month of February, and if you can’t join us in person, you can also view select sale items in my shop. The Art of Peace @ The Dougherty Art Center
I’m so pleased to announce I’ll have work in The Art of Peace, a group figure show at The Dougherty Art Center with fellow artists Rhea Petit, Meena Matocha, J.C. Amorrortu and Lawrence Jolly. The Art of Peace focuses on works that reflect on what Peace means to each artist, and their interpretation of the theme. It’s a gorgeous show and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. Concieved of in 2019, this show has been pushed back a few times due to covid and it’s finally happening!
