Born in Huntington (Long Island) New York in 1981 and moved to Texas in 2000. I  studied oil painting at the University of Texas at Austin, where I obtained a BA in studio art in 2006. I primarily paint figures in narration, or attempt to pose questions to the audience through visual means. Since I am so intrigued by the human body, and it plays such a prominent role in my work, I have been active in the past with the Austin Figurative Gallery, and a great deal of my work focuses on the figure alone. My paintings are usually bright, expressionist and often surreal with a slight dark twist. I am obsessed with color and what its manipulation can achieve. I  have shown my work in various local businesses around Austin, and have participated in the East Austin Studio Tour in 2008-2010. For the last couple of years, I've been slinging art supplies and studying the technical tools and aspects of oil painting in great detail. I occassionally do demos and share knowlege on canvas stretching and oil painting. I love vegetables.

Here's a listing of 'officially" shows I have been in. I have not listed (except for The Hideout, because I really wanted something in the "Solo" section) tons of coffee houses, bars and other local businesses I have showed in. I've also organized a couple of shows for Artrstrada Magazine, involving upward of 15 artists. I keep busy, is all I am saying.
